where's best place to buy new tires?

hi everyone,
i recently purchased my new quad tires from a polaris dealer i paid 213$ per tire. and the tires just dont seem that great i have had honda fourtrax and rubicons that came with bigger meatier better performing tires than the ones i just purchased from the dealer.

i expect to pay around 100 150 per tire but 213$ for bunk tires?

if anyone knows of an affordable place to buy good tires please share it with everyone.

thank you

That is a lot of coin! My next tires will be Grim Reapers. There are a few site sponsors that sell tires. ATVsuperstore.com and discountredirect.com are two. I've bought stuff from ATVsuperstore and have had great service.

hey felony

i have been doing a lot of research for tire prices. I want to step up to 14" rims and 27" tires (still savin' up) and i found some pretty good deals on ebay with free shipping.. Also atv superstore seems to be competitive on pricing.. but 213 i think 2much

Thanks! i went to the atvsuperstore sight. I want to order some tires from there but i didnt see the size that my quad has. 22-11-10 rear 23-7-10 front. I dont know how this tire size thing works. maybe there is another size that will fit? i have a 03 trail boss. the front tires on it seem rather skinny to me? i am used to the honda rubicon and foreman and it seems to me that the front tires were always wider? Im not going to be racing, or driving in the snow. i mainly will be using my quad for firewood winching trees downhills (small ones) and towing lawn vacuums and tank sprayers and such. i doubt that it will ever blaze its own trail. lol it will most likely stay on a beaten path and the steepest incline it will go up is my driveway.
so given that it seems like wider front tires would suit me better?

My opinion, wider tires will not help you if your ATV doesn't have 4wd. It will just make it harder to steer.

If you call theatvsuperstore, Thor can help you out with sizing.

Good luck either way!

Everything keeps going up. you could look at some carlisle 489's, they are a decent tire and seem to last. Could put bearclaws on the back ,but they are agreesive and will tear up the yard

Tires???

Give advantage-cycle.com!, RIDE - RACE - WIN a look. Pretty darn good prices on Sedona tires. They also have the other tires like ITP, blah, blah .... Think its free shipping on 95.00 bucks or more.

Hope this helps.
