2008 sportsman tire help pleeese

I have a 2008 Sportsman 500. I have stock wheels and tires. I want to upgrade but have no idea what size to go too. All the dealership wants to do is order them for me and dont seem to want to tell me what I can go too. I need a rim and tire size.... the biggest i can go to on stock springs. also if anyone knows the lug measurment.... Im lost here....I think I want Outlaw tires. We have alot of mud around here in GA. Thanks to anyone who can help....

Hi and welcome.
I would do some shopping around on the internet at places like motosport.com and rockymountainatv.com They offer tire and wheel combo packages and sometimes have pretty good deals. If you have questions and call them they actually have people to talk to, and they even know what they are talking about. At least that was my experience. I don't know if I would try to go any taller than 27" on a 500 unless you want to do some clutch work. 26" tires work real well on 500's.
