My review-black diamond xtr
Well I got these mounted up on Friday and got to put about 100 miles on 'em over the weekend. I ride all types of terrain from coal dirt to light mud and so far I'm impressed with these tires. The key with these tires is running them on low psi(2.5). I like tight technical sections where your in low gear & 4x4 and hoping you can get out of what you got yourself into type of riding. These tires grip awesome! I actually went up a coal bank backwards in 4x4 just to see if it would grip the coal dirt and to my surprise they did. They did great climbing grassy hill climbs where I would start to slide halfway up with the stockers. On rocks the ride felt a little harsher than with the stockers and I did notice rocks hitting the rims more often than with the stockers also. I think thats do to the low/stiff sidewall of the rears. But I did make it through the rocky section without getting stuck. I haven't tried them in the snow yet, but with the temps being in the high 30's they did great on the frozen ground. As for mud, there was some maybe a foot deep and the quad went right through without kicking the rear end out. Depending on how they wear, I would definitely buy them again. I would however opt for the 27" and see if it makes a difference in the rocky section.
