will 27 inch mudlites slow the 850 xp down on mph

Im intrested in what people think of tires that people have bought that ride fast. I didnt buy an 850 to go slow and want new tires soon. Im intrested in the "death Shake you get from these atv big tread tires. I want something that doesnt have that but still has good tread. when I say speed, I mean 50 or more. I like ridin fast and agressive. Im sure there is someone on here that knows what Im talkin about and I wanna know what tires your running!

Bighorns at 55 mph sustained on asphalt for a few minutes between jobs, smooth as silk on '09 550. 9" front, 11" in back, X 26", stock clutch. Love it. Enough traction to push a hell of a lot of snow here in snowbelt of Cleveland too, last weekend.

both the Grim Reaper and Black Diamonds are very smooth at high speeds. The Grims are a 8 ply and the Blacks are a 6 ply. I have test both and like them a lot!

I sent you a P M awhile ago Thor! I like the grims and would probably have to have them in 27's. It seems like there are good and bad sets of tires from tire manufacturers. Like the swamp lites, I have read alot of people talkin about them shaking and xtr's bein out of round. My last choice was bad in april so I would like to get something that I like and ride smooth at speed, not sit in a stack in shed! How much tread is on the Black diamonds?

For a smooth tire get the Grims. When I was in Custer SD running driving on black top they were awesome at 55+ mph. The Black Diamond tread is 1.25 inch.

How about the sparticus tire, anyone use the or know how they ride? I knew I would hear about BigHorns and the grims but I also have considered the 28 zilla's to. I know there has to be more than 4 fast riders on here! " COME ON MAN"!!!!
