Tire size

I have a 2008 sportsman 800 with stock tires and wheels. I would like to put the biggest tires posible on it with out using a lift kit.
I would like to know wheel and tire size combinations people have used in this case.

hey bro, like i said, i have an all stock sportsman xp 55o eps 2o11... and i just now put 29.5 outlaw 2's on em with 14 inch wheel...no lift, no clutch... and these things are huge... probably the biggest mud grips ive seen out... but they fit, and it looks pretty good... no rubbing at all...

2 completely different machines there xfuzzyinlinex. The older sportsman can't take as big of tire as an xp. My 08 800 that I had last year had 27" zilla's on it with no rubbing at all. I believe a 28" would go with minimal rubbing, if at all. The main point of concearn is the front wheel rubbing on the strut. You could also add the heavy duty front springs too to add an inch of lift with no actual "lift"
