28" or 30" zillas
ok so for xmas i bought myself a new 2011 550xp so far have 10 hrs and 75miles on it and i love it. BUT i live in south forida about 15 mi from RYC were i will do majority of my riding and stock tires ... well they suck. ive decided to go with zillas from lots of research on this site just not sure if i want 28 or 30 the price is so close. thanx for the input .... first thread!!!!

I don't know how well a 550 will do with 30's but that's what I have on my 850 and love them

hey dude kool present but a buddy of mine has a 550 08 model and 850 dont know the year the 850 thats his dads they both use 28s they said it puts too much strain on the axles but they got the XL zillas i think there wider hope that helps

Will 30s fit an 550 or 850 xp? I have been wanting to get some 29.5s on mine but was unsure if they would fit without a lift.

The 28's may be a better choice for the 550, taller and a little heavier may require a clutch kit mod with the 30's.

I plan on a qsc clutch kit. where i ride am always in low. id get 28 but with the zillas running short the 30 only weights 12 lbs more total. just curious if anyone else with 550 has them. thanks for the input

oh n billy from what ive found on this site the 29.5 should fit on ur 2012 no prob.

Thanks. Not sure if I'm going with 28s or 29.5s. Worried about breaking axles.
