You probably wont have the problems that I mentioned. I would clutch it, you probably will lose a little top speed clutchin but it will be worth the extra power you gain off the bottom end! The old design on the belt in my opinion is bullet proof. The XP's have a smaller belt system. The 850 have alot more power off bottom in high range and stock clutch tends to slip when clutch is engaged.JMO!

Run low range in woods if you dont plan on goin over 40. Running low is a must in mud!! Oh yea dont forget you will be pressure washing alot of mud cause they throw it all over You and the wheeler!!
Thanks for the reply. I understand by gripping so much they will put extra strain on the belt but what is the deal with the bushing's and ball joints? Should I look into a clutch kit too?
reason for bushing is the more weight is being thrown around by that once your bushing and tie rods go your bike will start hitting tire and when u make turns it going to sound like your braking stuff when making sharp turns and going over and under stuff every pot hole u hit ur gonna hear tie rods are simple too fix so are bushing just time consuming and please grease them up cause it will save u so much trouble in the long run especially if you do all everything yourself

I just said probably, I have a 500 ho with 10000 miles on it and havent had much problem with bushings. I had 1 bolt break in rear suspensionand bushing fell out but that has been about it. Hell Ive never changed brakes on the old beast. I would love to have the power in the 850 xp in the old frame and suspension design. They were bullet proof. I am currently getting motor rebuilt in 500 and gonna use for hunting only. Its alot easier to putt around on then my 850!
