There are a lot of good tires on the market these days. It depends on what type of riding you do.

It may help to describe what you are looking for in a tire.

I believe you either like a wheel design or you don't so it is difficult to say, this is the wheel for you.

Here is a link to the wheels we have that fit your Polaris 800.

A few of the tires I would suggest are the PitBull Growler UBER, GBC Spartacus or GBC Grim Reaper.

Here is a link to our tires online.

Stay with your gut! i have the swamp lites and they are very very very very impressive....i ride every type of trail and they work wonderful....they do wear a little hard on pavement...but not bad at all.....i love them in the snow also. They clean out EXEPTIONALLY well in mud, snow, and anything you throw at them.

Also on the money end of it, they are pretty cheap! by pretty i mean really well priced where i got them.

IMHO get the swamplites...the END!

Just curious, are your stock rims beat up? I am not sure why you'd want to replace them otherwise. Going to 14's will hurt your ride a little too. If you do get a kit and want to sell those stockers for a reaonable price, send me a PM, I might be interested

Here's a link to one of the kits. Interco Swamp-Lite Kit

I would not go to 14" rims. You lose tire sidewall and it will make for a rougher ride. You also lose rim protection with less sidewall. If 12" rims would fit on my XP, I would put them on it and get rid of the 14's.
Another good tire to look at would be the Maxxis Bighorns. Great trail and snow tire, but if you drop into a bunch of deep mud holes, it might not be your best choice. They are great for everything except deep, heavy mud.
