going down in tire size
so i have a 2005 polaris sportsman 500 and it has the stock tires on it 26x9x12 and 26x11x12 i was wondering if there would be a problem with putting a 25x10x12 and a 25x12x12 on it in a more aggressive tire.

some of the standard 500's came with 25inch tires, the le and camo versions came with the 26's, iam not sure what the new ones are coming with but my 06 500 efi came with the 26's.
I dont see a problem doing it.

Get you a 1" wheel spacer if the tire hits the swaybar. Problem solved.

Well there is always a reason why the manufacture chose those tire spec as its stock tires, but hey it's your atv you can do anything with it.
