polaris 550 xp tires

newbie question, I am wondering if anyone has installed pitbull growlers (25.5 x10x14 ) on their 550? Do they rub on sway bar without mod and how it handles the weight of the tire. Also do the maxxis bighorn 2 fit better than the regular bighorns. I really want to upgrade from the stock tires, but with the sway bar issues don't know which way to go. Do mostly mountain trail riding , snow and a little mud. We ride a lot of gravel to get to the trails. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

welcome! anything wider than stock on the rear and they are going to rub on the 09. Even though the pitbulls say they are 25.5 x 10, i believe they are higher and wider by all the other reviews i was reading when i was looking into them at one time.

Thanks for the welcome and the information. Looks like I am going to be doing the sway bar mod , now just need to decide on the right tire.

i think for the terrain you ride i would go with the pit bull rocker not growler. same size. the growler is more the mud tire of the 2. i have the 27.5x14 growlers on order but i ride more mud and no rock.
