What year ?

2009 550xp ..they will not, you will need to bend the sway bar OR add at least a 1' wheel spacer

2010 550xp they changed the sway bar to have more clearance and you should be good

Just my luck its a 09 do you know if a 2010 sway bar could be used on the 09's? I'd really hate to bend it, plus I asked the local dealer about wheel spacers and he could'nt find them where is a good place to look?

make the bends where the bends are already on the bar, enough to clear the tires, but not to far to hit the rear strut springs.
I havent actually done this to my own 09' 550xp, but others have.
I didnt want to bend anything to give polaris a reason to void my warranty
I used 1" spacers all the way around on my bike (2 pairs) POLARIS SPORTSMAN 09xp 1in WHEEL SPACERS -WSP2-M #464 | Twisted ATVs

they have bigger spacers too, but the 1" spacers will be fine for those tires
or you can find them at other websites too

A 1" Polaris spacer will clear these 27"x11"x14's easily in the rear without bending the swaybar and pissin' off the dealer when bringing it in for warranty work!! Bad part is having to buy tires and spacer's from the dealer. They usually will give you a decent price on accessories if you "deal" with them. I even ask for a senior citizen discount since I'm 62 yrs old!!

I went ahead and bent the swaybar in preparation for my new tires. It was very easy to do and there is no way the dealer can even tell that it has been done. I was able to bend it in one inch with a 2" truck strap very easily. I measured it at 22-1/2" eye to eye and finished at 21-1/4"

wow thats crazy. i put 30"X11"X14" silverbacks on the rear of my 05 800 and they fit perfectly... the front, however, is another story. i already lowered the shock towers an inch and now i will have to cut the arms to move the tires forward to get rid of rubbing in the bumpy turns
