Will 25-9-12 or26-9-12 tires fit on stock 25-8-12 rims?

Yes, whats important to check for is the RIM size, your 1st # is overall HEIGHT/2nd is tire WIDTH/3rd is RIM size in your case 12" diameter and your width is fine its only an extra 1", 2nd thing to check for is your CLEARANCE, make sure the overall size/height of tire doesn't interfere with fenders, front tie rods or any frame braces inside the fender area...again in your case your practicly the same size.

Does anyone know if a 25-10-12 is too wide to fit on the front of a 2010 Sportsman 800 without spacers?

Hey as far a recommending a tire it all depends on what style of riding you do. If you find yourself doing alot of everything including mud and other sticky situations you cant go wrong with the ITP MUD LITE. theyre easy to find and a decent price. Im currently running Carlisle Mud Wolfs and theyre an awsome tire!! great in mud, smooth riding on hard pack, great in rocks and climbing over logs. I went with them instead of the ITP because they are a heavier tire in the side wall and ive had problems putting material through sidewalls. They are a heavy tire but im running an 800 so i wasnt worried about power. Hope this helps

In regards to choppers reply. i had stock 26" tires on my stock rims and when i put 27-9-12 on the front of my quad the tires were on the tie-rods. Buying aftermarket rims werent much more than a spacer kit so thats the route i went. Good luck
