yes i did run my 850 without the dalton kit. the 28" zilla is not that heavy or a true 28" where you have to have the clutch kit. i can never leave my quads stock, for me working on quads adding mods is almost as much fun as riding.

Thanks for the reply SNW629! I'm excited to try out the tires and was hoping that I wouldn't need a clutch kit right away. When the time comes that I decide to get one, I will be going with the Dalton kit. It sounds like a highly researched kit, you should be getting a commission!

Can you give me any recommendations for air pressure in the Zillas? I'm hoping to get into some pretty serious mud this weekend and I don't know how much, or how little, pressure to run. Right now I have been running 7psi in the front and 5psi in the rear for running on dry ground. Some people have mentioned rolling their tires off the rim in the mud with 5psi. Any suggestions SNW629? Thanks!

i ran 4 psi in mine and never had a problem. the 14" has a stiffer sidewall than the 12" zilla. for me 4psi gives it a ok ride for a mud tire. more and i think it rides a little stiff for my taste.
