Zilla measurement question?
I would like to find out if anyone owns or knows if maxxis zilla's tend to run small? I want to put a set on my stock rims and I only would like to go up one tire size. My stock rims are 25". But from what I can gather,some people say they run small. So if a 27" zilla is really 26",that is what I would like to do. I don't want to buy a 26" set and they only be 25".

buy the size u want get them mounted and put bout 20psi in them and sit them in the sun all day...they will grow.. i do it to my race car tires all the time...

it is no secret the zillas run 1" short. the only way my 28x14 measured 28" was off the quad with 20psi in them, on the quad with 4psi they where 26.75"

the 27x12 zillas i have on my RZR are right at 26" on the bike and set to 8psi.

SNW629 - I just purchased a set of 28" Zillas. I have a bone stock 850XP. Did you ever run the Zillas without the Dalton clutch kit?

I just puy on 30 zillas and they are 30 inches tall!
