Reversing V tread on the Sportsman 90
My son is racing his Sportsman 90 (just asked one day) and it seems to have a traction issue. He spins the stock tires all over the place. Off the line, in corners and out of corners are the worst. We have all the tires at 4 psi and where told to lower the fronts to 3 psi and the rears to 2 psi and reverse them. They are the stock V tread tires on it now.
The tracked is packed dirt and shallow mid (1 in deep) in places. What do you think of this idea?
He is getting big for the machine and only has two races left in a so so competitive series. We will be getting him a new machine next year so I do not want to buy some new tires for him to use twice.

i've heard of people reversing the tires but i thought it only benefited on sand.
on hard pack, he's going to have to use throttle and body language

We dropped the pressure to 2 psi, lowered the back spring setting 1 space and left the tires facing the correct direction. What a difference. It hooked up much better.
