I see what your saying, and thanks for the heads up. I hate to say it, but the look of the 14" is swaying me that way. 1) is the vibration really that bad? I go riding 10-20 times a year. Just don't have a lot of time due to taking boat to the lake in the summer and deer/duck hunting in the winter (My other ATV I had for 2 years and put about 150 miles on it). 2) I hardly ever ride on hardpack surfaces. By looking at peoples pictures/stories on here, you all do way more riding than I do. Hell, all I do is go camping with several of my friends and our wives and ride the creeks around on his farm. It is also next to a track, so sometimes we just drive through the creek connecting the two and ride the trails for free with all of the other riders. Then head back up the creek and sleep in the campers on his place. That is why I'm having a hard time deciding if the extra vibration would make a difference to me. My buddy just bought a Brute force 660 with 30" silverbacks and 2 inch lift. It will beat the hell out of you loading and unloading on a trailer, but once you get in the fields and creeks, it drives fine. I don't go on long hardpack trail rides like a lot of people on here. I have a buddy's who's Honda 420 (much smaller overall size than my polaris 400) sitting in my garage right now with 14" ITP's and 26" baja's on it right now. It looked really good and last weekend we put a 2" lift on it which only made it look 10 times better. Still not quiet as tall as mine, but looks way better. I just want to make sure I don't end up like I did with my truck. I put a leveling kit on it and some 18" wheels, and now I wish I would have put 20" on it with some aggressive tires.

Thanks again for all of the help and concerns so far.

I would not really call it a vibration. Its just you feel a lot more because of the stiffer ride. If your going to just ride a few hours at a time. Then I would say go for the 14" rims. I usually ride 7 to 9 hrs (80 to 100 miles) each ride. Believe me after 3 to 4 hours, your body gets a little more sensitive to whats out on the trail....I know it sounds corny

Makes sense. Wow, I couldn't even imagine riding that long. No wonder all you guys worry so much about how they handle.
