v-nose trailers
I am looking to buy a v-nose trailer in the 8.5x 25 range, and my choices are Interstate and mirage, was wondering if any of you have any expereince with them? Price is pretty much the same.

That is a big trailer you're looking at! They are definitely cool...
I've had experience with Interstate...and it was a good solid trailer. Never any issues...and quailty built. I sold it over the years...and now just ordered me a new one.
This time I went with LOOK trailers. They are a new company that have history with Haulmark. The LOOK offered more for my money...and I was better able to customize it for my needs. This time around I went with a 7x20 ( 102" wide )...but almost went with the 8.5x20. I ordered mine with the front wedge with slant nose. Really excited to take delivery...which should be any...any time.
Good luck!

I have an 8 1/2 by 16 foot interstate up here in alaska and it has been a great trailer. I have to admit I only bought it because I found a smoking deal and I think there are better trailers out there, but I cant really say anything bad about it.

I have a small Interstate 6x10 V nose that I use to haul my Harley between summer & winter homes. Its been a good trailer. Interstate, like most trailer mfg, makes many diff models from good, better, best, to cover the entire price point market. Some of their best features are optional on the lower price units. torsion vs spring suspension, extra stone guard plates, thicker floor/wall, closer spacing of struts, etc.

I talked to interstate yesterday in murry utah, and was asking about a 25 footer and he said all they had was a 27 footer. i said it was too long for the room i have. I ask what would be the price on a 25' and he said when he looked up on computer all he had was the 27. i said again too long. than i asked could they build me one, he said he didnt know would have to get back to me monday. Then i called mirage and asked same thing whitch theirs would be a 24' whitch is fine. They give me the price and when it would be ready and when and where i could pick it up, so as soon as we decide on a color looks like it will be a Mirage trailer.

Eeww...that is a bummer. Sounds like the Interstate dealer is lazy and not want to place an order. Just sell off the lot...and get you out...and him the cash in his pocket. Well...sounds better off...
Good luck with the Mirage! I'm sure you will be happy...

I own a Titan and would recommend them because they are made out of galvaneil<sp> I drove to Dallas to buy a interstate and saw one sitting in the parking lot of the hotel. That night some mexicans climbed on top and cut it open with a hunting knife and stole the guys tools out of it. I canceled the order and drove back to Oklahoma and bought a Titan they are heavy but indestructible have torsion bar axles and ride smooth I have tools on pegboard on front v nose and they stay put on rough backroads
