Given our recent leap into the ATV hobby, I need to thin down the herd of toys in my yard
Up for sale is my custom trailer that I just built this Jan. (2011).
This trailer has a 5'x7' bed on it built from brand new 2.5" x 2.5" x .125" steel. The trailer was welded by a professional shop locally here in Green Bay, WI.
This trailer is much safer than any other drop trailer you may have seen. Typically drop trailers use a cable system to raise and lower the unit. Bad thing about those is that if anything gives on that system, you have a weapon (cable) under full tension. My system allows you to simply drop the jacks, pull 2 pins and just crank the jacks down to the ground. Simple as that. You can obviously go the opposite way with the jacks to lift you trailer out of the way in the off season and store things underneath it as well!!
The trailer is coated with a bed liner coating. All jacks, tires, bearings, etc are brand new. The tires only have 13miles on them from when i trailered it back to my house from the welding shop.
Another nice feature is the coupling is on a receiver so once you are at your location, you can simply pull another pin and remove the coupling which is on a receiver.
Nothing has been fastened to the trailer in terms of a bed, so there are no holes through the frame or anything yet...just waiting for your final touches.
