hello i need help finding the vin on my 1995 polaris magnum 425 4x4 the only one i found was one on the plastics but it says its invalid i would appreacite any help you could give me
i am happy to see i am not the only one having tranny problems not that i am happy that anyone has those problems but anyway i changed the ramp buttons oon that stupid automatic clutch and now that quad is barely moving i am sure i put it back together alright (after three times ) it should be ok so my question is could it be that i changed one swivel arm that the shifter rod is connected too and maybe did not re aline it wright anyone has an answer and yes it is hard to shift from reverse or neutral to anywhere else.thank guys.
Hi i have a problem with my 2010 Sportsman 500 HO the problem i have is that the drive clutch is not sliding in consistantly in H gear its fine when i'm in park and reving it but as soon as i get on an put it in H and take off it revs very high and wont pass 30mph (at first i thought the belt was slipping)the drive clutch won't engage all the way,i've had the belt off and it push's in on the spring fine as i said in park all seems to be working.
Have i got a problem with the weights or is the problem with the H gear?
Dose the spindle that the drive clutch slides on need any lube or something?
I'm completely confused so would appreciate any help.
Are you still taking pics for Polaris ? I am a model type ( ok, not really ) but would maybe go out and take a couple of pics. Might be nice to be a " poster boy " for Polaris.
Any advice please.When the primary clutch backs off , is it suppose to open all the way to the washer on the end of the shaft? And if so,and mine doesnt, is that telling me the clutch is shot?. My driven clutch was broke. I replaced it but it still does not want to disengage. Any advice? Thanks alot
