My father in law bought a 2002 sportsman 500 for my 4 young children... the bike has approx. 4-6 inches of lift, 28" outlaw high lifter tires along with a couple other mods..... not really child friendly so i wanna sell cause its a beast. when he bought it, it was barely running and front hub was bout to fall off... been rode pretty hard from the looks of it. i had it serviced, starter and carb rebuilt, brakes redone, and new bearings and races and stuff in the front end on both sides. i am no mechanic so i paid someone to do all this. that was bout six months ago and i have only rode it around the yard, holding my kids in my lap, maybe half a dozen times or so. since i wanted to try and sell it i figured i should check the 4x4 since i never used it before. i jacked the bike up and sat it on blocks. hit the awd switch, and the driveshaft and both front axles turn smoothly with no popping or creeking whatsoever. but the front tires don't turn..... any ideas??? thanks so much
