2005 Polaris Ranger 4X4 Starter Problem: Starter would not not turn, Removed the starter and found the positive brush was completelly worn. I replaced the brushes in the starter and installed the starter. Now the starter spins but coes not engage the flywheel. When I pulled it out I inspected the spline gear and all teeth are in excellent condition. Is there something I did not align correctly when replacing the starter? I slid the starter straight in before twisting it to line up the bolt mounting holes.
