I know the post is a little late but as far as I know the only places to ride in Iowa are the ORV parks or private land if you know someone. Kind of sucks as I hear the parks are packed on the weekends. So unless you are able to ride during the week you have to be prepared to have lots of company.

Where to Ride allows you to submit detailed information and photos for your favorite riding areas, search for places to ride, and find people to ride with. It's fully integrated with Google Maps and supports area subscriptions, so you'll always be in-the-know about what's happening at the areas you ride.
Thanks,

There is a place down by oskalooska, I haven't been there in over 10 years, but I am sure it is still open called bussy ohv park. Last time I was there I ended up in the hospital with a concussion. Lol, wrecked my bike on the mx tracks.
All in all there is alot of area, and many different things to do there last I knew. Take in consideration it's been 10 years.

place to ride
Here in New Hartford our private club "BEAVER CREEK ATV CLUB " we have 18 miles of trails on private property all river bottom plus I think New Hartford IA is the only town in Ia. that you can operate an ATV legally. Tonight we are riding after our chili cookoff.Any questions feel free to contact me.

I used to live there. Been at Bussy and a spot outside of Iowa City. I mostly rode in Wisconsion since I was only two hours from WI in the quad cities IA. Pretty sparse out there unless its private rides.

Timber ridge ranch in castana has 3500 acres of trails from bike only to dune buggy 2 track trails. Lots of bikes, Quads, Razr's, dune buggy's and jeeps. It's a "members only" type place but it's worth every dime.
Headworks park in Genoa Nebraska is about 75 miles N.W. of Omaha. couple thousand acres. mostly sandy timber trails some wide open sand and a shallow river. pretty fun place to ride. Camping on the park. WARNING. It closes twice a year to dredge. so double check before you go
Tuttle creek in kansas is fun too. Not very big though, pretty rocky in spots. Nice hills here and there.
