St. Louis Area Trail Ride, This Sunday 1/30/11
Anyone in the St. Louis area or beyond want to ride at Moonlite Racing. It is located south of Sullivan, MO. They have 600 acres and charge $10 per machine. Primative area so bring what you need and pack out your trash. There is a porta pottie there, but never used it yet. Some have small fires when it is cold.
I ussually ride a couple of hours or 10 to 15 miles.
From I-44 take Hiway 185 out of Sullivan south to Hiway A and turn left. Go about 4.5 - 5 miles and see the sign on the right. Long gravel steep lane down to the farm house and cross the creek (has water) and stop at the shed (shop) and pay and sign a waiver. You can find a spot on top of the hill to unload and ride atv down also. I went down last week and the road was snow covered in places and got in and out in 4x4 ok. Should be warmer and clear Sunday.
