More new 2010 LE models (inc. EPS RZR)
 

Minneapolis, January 21, 2010 Polaris Industries today announced the company's new limited edition ATV and Side-by-Side offerings. In the past, Polaris' limited editions have been cosmetic upgrades such as paint but this offering also includes units with performance and technology upgrades. Included, is the first RANGER CREW and RANGER RZR with electronic power steering, and a 50-inch RANGER RZR with a premium Walker Evans shock package.

2010 Sportsman 850 XP EPS-Crimson Red
Additional features on the limited edition model include:
* Crimson Red automotive-style paint
* Electronic Power Steering (EPS) with Variable Assist for easy steering
. Lock & Ride front storage box
. Blacked-out cast aluminum wheels

The MSRP (US) is $9,999, and the MSRP (Canada) is $12,199. Machines are available in US and Canadian dealerships in January.

Coooool!! cant wait to see them in person lol! Do you know if they are on the polaris web site or not?

I don't think the Polaris website has been updated with them yet. My dealer showed them to me via his Polaris dealer website, then I did a search on line and found the info I posted above, listed on another ATV news site.

Since they are supose to be availble January 2010, I would think Polaris would be updating there site anytime now.

Are they ready to deliver the product? Or maybe they are not communicating well....

Have you noticed the rims on the 850XP LE pic seem to be on the WRONG axle, the deeper dish rims usually go on the back and the shallower on the front...thats the 1 I'm looking to get, what a nice peice of MACHINERY!

The back wheel looks a little photo shopped to me. MFGs do that sometimes to press release and brochure photos when minor changes are made. I have seen that many times with automotive brochures and on line press photos, like when a mfg up dates a grill or a wheel or something from one year to the next, rather then spend the money on new studio pics, they just photo shop the changes to an old pic.

The wheels are the same wheel as on all the 850s, except with black painted accents.

They are supose to be availble now. Keep in mid dealers place orders for there stock at random. They will not all get these at the same time. For example, if my dealer just got a shipment of new machines a couple weeks ago, he will not likely be placing another order untill he sells some of the stock he just bought. Meaning it could be a couple months before he gets some of these LE models in, and that is only if he wants to bring some of these LE models in on his next stock order. I know some dealers that almost never order LE models, because they say they cost to much, or they didn't think the color would sell. Like last year when my local dealer didn't think the gold LE would sell to well, so he didn't bring any in, but just prior to that he thought the Orange LE was really sharp, so he ordered all of them that Polaris would give him.

Best to call around to several dealers if an LE model catches your eye, and is a must have for you. Because you could miss out on what you really want, should your local dealer not order any of that one special LE that you are looking for.

You can try and see if your dealer will put one on his next order for you, that way he knows that he has a buyer for that one and will be a lot more inclined to get it on his next order.
