we just sold our EV ranger at the dealership yesterday. definently has its special nitch. really is great for places like sports stadiums and wearhouses where you have a roof over you and an inclosed space and can have gas engine exhaust fumes. funny it has 4x4, i think as the technology gets better, the machines preform better, it will be a better mainstream consumer vechicle.
i guess as part of testing, some of the polaris engineers took a prototype EV ranger out hunting and brought an elk out of the woods with one to see how well it worked

Apparently nobody on here has heard of the Bad Boy Buggie Bad Boy Buggies - All Electric 4WD Vehicles . You need to go watch their performance video, pulling a powered up gas ATV backwards :-) .
Don't get me wrong, they have their place and taking long trips isn't one of them. But for use around a hunting lease where you're not expecting to have to travel, say more than 25 miles round trip. I'd say they're great. My biggest complaint is that they're still built like a golf cart and uncomfortable as hell. Polaris is heading in the right direction in making theirs more comfortable and functional but they have a ways to go to catch up with the brute HP performance out of a BBB. If Polaris can get their HP up to around with the BBB puts out and can get the range up to around 50 miles they will have my order ;-)
