Of course I'm privy to the Zillas being I own them, but the reason I choose them was the light weight/size ratio. Although I did loose a little top end, it's unnoticeable in low and mid. Who wants to "trail ride" at 70mph anyways?!?! Zillas FTW, mud, trails, rocks, roots, roads. I'm not disappointed. BTW, although I have a RDC 2" lift installed, I was running the 28"s before the lift with no rubbing at all.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

My 2007 800 EFI absoluted shredded the sidewalls of the terrible stock tires on my first outting on rocky terrain (seven flats in 2 days). I had the XP aluminum wheels (with fake bead locks) that looked sharp and wanted to keep the wheels. I went with heavy 9 ply ITP Baja's. These tires are as aggressive as anything out there and tough as nails. I had to put 2" durablue wheel spacers on the front to get more room away from the struts after I realized we over did it on the tires (I couldn't find a 1" spacer to fit the bolt pattern). The 4" added front width makes steering a bit tougher on tight turns, but adds stability against tipping, a bit like the geometry of off road rally truck racers. I'd like to drop it to 1" wheel spacers, so if anyone knows a brand that fit Polaris bolt pattern, let me know. The ITP BAJA's are the best all around tire for punishing long distance riding, but depending on the model, will require new wheels or spacers for stock wheels.
