GM doesn't sell trucks as GM, so why call it that? They sell them as Chevy, an they sell them as GMC.
My views on it will never change.
Just the way I see it, and it's apparently the way GM themselves see it.
If ford combined more than one truck I'd agree the GM should, but ford only has one truck, so why combine Chevy and GM, making it 2, and ford only has one? How is that fair?
Besides, read the thread title. Favorite truck BRAND. Not "favorite automaker parent company who sells trucks."

Wow, sounds like somebody is worried their precious Ford might not be most popular anymore. Anyways, I drive a 2012 Ram Laramie that has treated me excellent for 2700 miles so far. I also test drove an F150 Ecoboost which was a very fine truck. However, it cost more and didn't have as many options as the Dodge(heated steering wheel, heated rear seat, Auto 4wd setting, 100k mile powertrain warranty).

I'm not worried about anything at all.
I really don't care how popular my favorite truck is.
And I really don't care if it's been the number one seller for 35 years in a row, and best selling vehicle for many many years.
Lmao.
Just stating that combining GMC and Chevrolet is wrong, and is a GM fanboys way of making themselves feel better.
GM trucks have really been bad for a few years. They need a major update. Few years ago I'd take a Chevy over a dodge, not anymore!

Nice truck Scrambler....I love my GM but I would have no problem with a Dodge or an F-150. Im not anti everything that I don't own like some people.

I gotta agree with you. I've been a Chevy fan my whole life. We even got my wife a new 2011 Malibu LTZ in August. However, when it comes to the trucks, Chevy wasn't even a consideration for me. The back seat is ridiculous. Why are thy still using drum brakes on the rear axle? Another dagger for Chevy was the standard column shifter. If I wanted that, I'd buy a 72 Chevy with a 3 on the tree! Chevy is long overdue for a redesign. Until then, I love my Dodge, and I would be happy with an Ecoboost also.

They're getting a redesign in 2014. Dunno how drastic it will be, time will tell.

I have always owned Ford Pick Up's Current Truck is 05 Supercrew Lariat 4x4,If I was going with a new 1/2 ton it would likely be a new F150 with the 6.2 V8,No ecoboost for Me can't go with a V6 no way no how,I could live with a Chevy or Dodge,However if I was going to go with a 3/4 ton Diesel I would only be looking at a Dodge/Cummings,Ford diesels (except the 7.3) have horrible track record for reliability & are service nightmares.
