We always want more. But as long as I can lift it and sling some 31's in the mud I don't care what CC it is.

I got the 850 back in 09 brand new because I was suffering from M.E.D (male ego disease). I do believe it is nice to have the power when I need it, but damn it will go through some gas. And on the note of the 850s getting stuck faster I can attested to that or it may be from just having stockers still on the quad. But what I have noticed is that the width on these machines are making me wanna "think skinny" going between obstacles, my machine has plenty of scratches from rubbing trees because the trail was tight and slippery. Also I think for $9000 they would put a half way decent tire on the machine. But all in all I believe size matter like all the women say, but you have to be able to handle the size of the machine you get on. uploadfromtaptalk1323149801219.jpg

My 850xp does what I need it to do, but when do you draw the line on overkill? Instead of companies trying to 1-up the other on engine size, I think they should go back and rework what they have to improve fuel economy. Even though these are recreational vehicles, I don't want to break the bank just to go riding on the weekend. I mean my xp's gas mpg sucks but I can only imagine what it would be on a 1200cc quad.
