I just replaced the fan motor and the thermo switch and it is still overheating.
I can jump at the thermo switch and turn the fan on but it will NOT come on by it self. Does anyone have any idea's ???

If the fan works hotwired and the coolant is flowing through your radiator (you should be able to see the fluid move throught he clear tube). The issue may not be either of those. There is a auto-reseting breaker that sometimes does not reset. I had this happen on my new machine and all it was still under warranty. There should be a matchbox size device in the wiring harness near the back of your battery. Check to make sure the connection is being made and maybe disconnect it and reconnect it to see if it will reset it. If you machine is under warranty i would reccomend taking it in and letting them do it so that you have a record of issue. If this is the issue your machine should not be overheating, its just the "HOT" light messing up because of the breaker (but get it checked asap just to make sure). Repost here and let us know what you find.

Overheating 1999 Diesel

I've had the radiator cleaned and repaired. But I'll check that box back by the batteries. THANKS for your help.

Hey when you post with issues, i would also list year, make and model with any mods that you may have added. It will help people because some issues are known with some makes/models and could bring in more of a specific issue. Let me know what you find out...
