polaris hawkeye rear axle

I am having to repace the rear bearing on my Hawkeye... i was able to remove the bearing without taking the hub off but to get the new bearing pressed in i need to remove the hub from the suspension. There are 2 bolts securing the hub to the suspesion and the top one came right off.... The bottom one (the longer of the 2) will not budge?? i have tried everthing short of shooting it!!! i dont see a clip or anything that would be keeping the bolt from being removed. the bolt turns the hub moves freely up and down but i can not get it to budge even a 1/16th??? any help is greatly appriciated.
