polaris outlaw 525 s mods? and airbox?
I just recently bought a 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525s. Everything is stock and i was wondering what are the first aftermarket parts to add? I heard the stock airbox lid is holding back some hp, but i dk. Also the air filter inside doesn't look very protectant? Need some advice. Thanks

First mod IMO would be Remote reserviors up front with the suspension dialed in a bit. Next ditch the handlebars, after a few ride the swingarm skid will be toast, replace it with aluminum. From there, i may start looking at the CFM or someones airbox, with a jet kit. Once you do that you will have everything needed for exhaust if you want.

Most likely i'll go CFM on mine, it has a lid for wet conditions if needed. I havn't got to that yet, my swingarm skid is next, it died last ride.

I went with the rath racing intake and love it. your other option is going with a CFM aftermarket air box. and the swing arm skid is the piece of plastic that protects your sprocket and brake rotor.

The first thing you will notice about the 2009 Outlaw line-up is that they look completely different from the Outlaw models of old..!
