07 outlaw 500 engine trouble
Hey guys, new to the thread and had a couple questions. I have an 07 outlaw 500 that I drowned in the river a few months back. It started having some trouble shortly after. I am pretty sure that water was sucked into it through the air box. When you ride it, it makes good power through 1st and 2nd gear then it starts to "cut" out and miss through 3rd and 4th and will try and make up some of it's power back in 5th gear. I have done almost everything I know to to including:
changing oil and filter several times
drained all fluids and replaced
pulled carb/cleaned/didn't replace jets, werent clogged
changed air and fuel filter
changed plug
I think thats about it. I hope this makes some sense as it's hard to describe exactly what happens. Thanks and hopefully someone can help.
