Hi, I own a 2009 polaris outlaw 525 irs and I was wondering if the 2006 polaris frame would fit if I tranfer the outlaw parts to the predator frame..? an atv ran into mine last fall and the guy that rammed my atv ran away and it damaged severely the back frame so any help would be appreciated

Well, they had different motors so the frames will have different motor mounts. But with a little cutting and welding it should work without being too big of a deal.

i just want to make sure cause if it,s too big of a deal, I'll cancel the project of swapping everything... But if you're sur everything fits there... I could maybe take a chance... but a 1k $$$ chance...

Im not sure. I can see anything else being really different. Just the difference between a polaris motor and a KTM motor. I could be very wrong here, but I just see anything that would be a major headache other then re-doing the engine mounts.

The Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS is an evolution of the sport ATV that pioneered independent rear suspension - the Predator.. That is commendable, no doubt..

I just saw, you have IRS. You will lose that with any other frame. You would have to go to the swingarm and I'm not sure if your countershaft sprocket would line up the swingarm sprocket.

The Polaris Outlaw and Predator are two totally different quads/frames. If you were talking about switching your motor/plastic over to a 2006 Outlaw frame then yes. If your talking about using a Predator frame then no. If all you need is a frame and your willing to do all the transfer of parts yourself, then why not just order an Outlaw frame from Polaris?
