A/F screw

Is there an A/F screw on an 06' Outlaw 525 IRS. I did not see it unless it has a cap on it.

It is up under the front of the carb...on the front bottom of the float bowl...yes it does have a cap on it.

One more question for you but it may seem like a no brainer. The actual distance on turns. If I was to turn the a/f screw 3 turns out are they saying to bring it out 3 complete turns. 360 degrees for one turn or are they counting three ticks of the screw slot which would be 1.5 fuel 360 degree turns. I ask this because the local dealer service told my friend that it was counted by halfs. basically everytime the screw slot came to point it was 1 so a 360 degree turn would be two counts. Hope I didn't confuse anybody.

A turn is 360 deg....three turns out would be 3x360 degrees. 1.5 turns would be 360 deg + 180 deg...or...a turn and a half

all of this from lightly bottomed...the number of turns is how far out you are turning the screw out... from lightly bottomed

Hope this helps,

Chris
