outlaw 525s stg1 hotcam vs stg4 webcam

I have a 13 to1 piston ct racing exhaust k&n right on the carb and a hot cam but I was wondering if a stg4 web cam with some oversized valves would be a really big increase in power mid to top its fast right now but who doesn't want to go faster

I no this post is way old, but did you end up doing any mOre upgrades? And did you haft to balance the crank for the new piston?

here's food for thought.ktm factory only "i think" Big Bore kit...a 3 or 5 mil crank-13 to 1 piston-i don't no how they do the jug!!!it make's now 570 cc Big Bore,it's suppose to be a all drop in kit....valve werk is way costly in dollars/how much bang 4 your buck do you get..if it were me,i'd call Allan Knowlls at ct racing,they've done a lot with the 510 racing engine from ktm.i'd do the bottom end too,if i was doing that much stuff to the top end,i need to do the bottom end."scary fast" insane power plant..you might plan on also doing that rear axle thang too,one last thing you might look at changing rim and tire size<all depends what your using it for?sand,dragging,desert,what's your general ridding conditions,????>i don't think you can go wrong with ktm's package that run's about 3500.00 or so

ya, well im not lookin to spend 3500 bucks to go fast ha. i heard about how fast these bikes were so i picked up a 07 525irs and its not very fast i put the yoshi pipe and k&n on it and jd jet kit and it does okay but all of my buddies with raptors and yfzs and ltrs smoke me, i dont know if its just tired or what i thought about porting and polishing the head and do a high comp piston i just dont want to put money into it and still be slow, i dont no if mine is messed up or if thats just how they run? i mean it accellerates really fast but when i hit the hills it just falls off i can hold 3rd on most every hill but im not exactly haulin arse and my buddies on STOCK bikes are fricken passin me and it pisses me off haha.

if your getting passed by stock 450's theres something wrong the 525 is faster then most all stock sport quads and faster then some modded quads. im guessing your carb jetting is off.

ya im wondering i just dont no, i put the jd jet kit in and it helped but it still dont have the power, its jetted pretty good tho i think. its just a tad on the rich side but i like it a little rich rather than lean ill check out the site tho also im a farely big guy 225# so might be part of it most of my buddies way around 170 that im racing haha.
would like to make this thing faster tho was talking to a guy about porting and polishing the head and i would put a new jug and i high comp piston why i was at it, also cams so that should wake it up would like to get a good cdi to if anyone has any suggestions? im not really looking to up the rpms just a little stronger ignition curve

ha 3500 alot?whatever dude!!!funny you say it's a 07 and irs,takes money to go fast and serious goes way fast.could be the rider????i don't look for the 450's bro,i look for the 700's and banchee's.<heshee's>but i hang out at glamis and dumont.....i only insult when assaulted,you asked and i only gave a couple of idea's.blasters are cheap-there's some cheap input.bye the way 215 is max,so you tell me

Yeah 3500 is alot.. I could make my truck a 12 second truck for that. Why put that much into something to make it compete with bikes that have halftime the mods. Why look for banshees if you can't hang with 450s? Why is 07 irs funny?? I just asked for some opinions not a smart ass remark. Thanks
