Outlaw 500 vs. Outlaw 525

Hey guys, just a question for anyone with the knowledge to answer. I understand that the 525 has the KTM motor, is the difference that noticeable? I'm looking to find one used and 525's are a lot harder to come by (if anyone has a used 525 IRS let me know!)

Yes, the difference between the 500 and ktm 525 is unbelievably huge. The 500 is good, the 525 will knock your socks off, and be very reliable while doing it.

Test ride them both at a dealer if you can. You will see exactly what I mean

well it is "that noticeable" to me. more low end torque faster and more reliable. not to mention it is also lighter than the fuji engine. the 525's are all over craigslist, most of them ar going from 3-$5000. i would sell mine to you for what i owe, 5200

Appreciate the feedback guys....I'm going to look at an '07 525 IRS with super low hours, still has the nubs on the stock tires. Guy's asking $3500....seems fair. Thanks again, I've ridden the 525 KTM motocross bike before, I can imagine that quad rips....
