Switch wheels to opposite side

i just ot done putting two rear boots on and while i had the wheels off i came up with this not so brilliant idea, to swap the wheels side to side and flip the wheel inside to outside (maintains proper tire rotation), i did this on the front also, i havent got to ride it yet but it totally looks badass and the stance is really wide and looks like i have axle extensions on. just wondering if i am going to break something when i ride it since there will be more stress on studs and shafts, has anyone done this and what did you think

Please look closely at your valve stems they will hit the brakes on one side in back (On a sportsman) and a couple things up front. They will not last long.

You could of coarse remove valve stems.. Then weld the holes up and drill new ones.

Yes you will be exerting allot more stress on your hubs and axles as well.

I did this on the front of my 08 Outlaw 525. I think it looks bad a$$ too. Got the deep dish look and widened the stance too! Now the front and rear are exactly the same width.

Take some pics of how it looks like that. Id imagine that would look pretty cool. A wider stance is always nice

Okay, I just talked with my Polaris guy who said DO NOT switch out the front wheels and if you have to widen your front, go with spacers. HOWEVER, you can switch out the rear wheels with no real harm, as the rear bushings take the punishment anyways. I just did it to mine and it does look pretty rad with the narrower front and about 3" wider per side on the rear
