i have one on my 525 i just cut the wire down by the harness. I made sure that if i ever wanted to hook the oem back up i would have enough to do it. The wire is simple it is a normal open conection. just put a but splice or tape on the ends to make sure they dont come in contact with anything, and you are good to go.
