07 Outlaw Problem! Need advise.
Im new to Polaris and Outlaws. But having a 660 Raptor for several years I am used to having to work on something! I have had this Outlaw for a about 3 weeks. It ran fine until the other day. The other day I replaced the grips. I had to loosen all the handle bar controls. Replaced grips went down the road, turned around and came back. Right as I got to my driveway it died. I did have the gas turned off so it may or may not have anything to do with problem.
The problem....I went to ride it today. It was hard to start, I assume due to no gas in carb. When I did get it running and warmed up I pulled in clutch, applied throttle and it died. Tried it several times same results. You could put it in gear and let out on the clutch w/o applying throttle and it would move but if you tried to apply throttle...engine dies. You can start it up, pull in the clutch and rev the motor like normal. But try to ride, motor dies.
Now when I had a Raptor...It had a parking break sensor that it would not allow the motor to rev if engaged.
Does the 525 have a sensor or something that would do the same? Anyway to remove it? Please help!
Thanks for your help!
