525 clutch problem

Recently when i would let out my clutch and give it some gas it would make a squealing noice and sometimes the tires would skip on the surface making a grinding noise. if i let the clutch out slow and barely give it gas it will grab normally. Is the problem deff in the clutch or can it be the transmission?
