seat problems

OK, I just got my 07 outlaw. it was a brand new left over, so nothing should be wrong with it. I don't know if it is the latch or watch, but the seat 1)is hard to latch and 2) constantly comes off. right now i have a pin holding it down, which seems to be working. Im gonna call the dealer to see if they can do anything, but i was just curious if this was happening to anyone else, what the problem is, o how to solve it. Thanks a lot.

a'pond further inspection i found the the latch is held in bye<2 tab's-1 front side/1 rear side>and the latch slides thru and tension spring attach, allow the the latch spine to come out<being that there plastic tabs>and wear from it being a metal latch.i took them all out and re-installed them.so far they seem all right.
hope this help's ya out there Fellow outlaw'er

Go to my site here Wicked Al - My Ride about 3/4's of the way down I talk about the issue I had with my seat and I have pictures of my solution, it isn't easy, but it sure fixed it! I race my Outlaw and it sure is inconvenient to have the seat come off in the race.

Click on the pictures to see a close up!

I hope it helps!
