I have many miles on it now with no problems. The exhaust is not near it. I dont ride in mud, just dirt roads and highway. I have a JD jet kit and jetted it properly and with this filter setup, it rips. I am currently looking for a smaller rear sprocket for more top end because this bike pulls so hard. I can easily snatch it up in 4th gear at over 50mph on flat ground.

so do u not have an irs, cuz my exhaust is like 3 inches away from my filter, also y would u go through all the trouble to change the rear sprocket when you can change the front one in like 10 min and get the same result.

My bike has a straight axle and the filter is no where near the exhaust. I changed the front to like a 15t and the rear is a 34t. I cant get a larger one on the front and cannot find a rear one smaller than a 34. This bike will pull with a taller gear easily! Im just looking for more top end.
