Polaris Outlaw 525s Leaky Clutch

Hello All,

Trying to find info online about this, but couldn't seem to find anything. I have a 2008 outlaw 525s that is leaking black fluid from around the clutch lever. From what I've read this is supposed to be red fluid. I've never added anything to it and owned the bike for a little over a year (bought new). Is it possibly that these push motor oil from the engine into the clutch line? Any other thoughts? Is there a slave that needs to be serviced or maintained or known to go bad on these? Thanks for your response.

Black fluid at the lever would be a bad piston seal on the master cylinder. Order a rebuild kit, replace it and bleed the system. Also you should flush the system at least yearly.

Thanks. Anyone have suggestions about the best place on the web to order for Polaris parts? I've used bikebandit, but they seem to take a while. Local dealer always seems to just be way to spendy.
