2009 Phoenix 200
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction with a problem we have with my wifes Phoenix.
I noticed a few days ago, that there was a nut missing on the carb boot that goes from the carb to the cylinder, it had issues running and I figured that it was due to an air leak there. So i replaced the nut, and it started running great, for a little while. Now it is running poorly again.
When the bike is cool, it starts right up, but when it gets warm, it wont run unless choke is used, and then it sputters and eventually it will not start until or continue running until cool again.
Do any of you feel that a valve adjustment is due, or necessary? Could it be the culprit of the no start when warm? Could it be an electrical issue?
Gas is not old, has had a fresh oil change with recommended oil from polaris dealer.
Is there an inline fuel filter that I can check for cleanliness to see if it in fact only starving from proper fuel flow?
Thanks in advance for any possible help you all might throw my direction as I am at a standstill with this issue and I don't really want to pay labor rates at a dealer service department.

WELCOME!
I would first look at the fuel filter and then run a couple tanks of SEA FOAM. A carb rebuild may be in order.

So I found the filter, replaced it, and it still has the issue. When it wont start normally, I can get it to start by starting with full choke, and holding the throttle full open. Any ideas what this could be?
