driven clutch removal 2008 Phoenix 200
Does anyone know how to remove the driven clutch? I have used a strap wrench to hold the clutch housing still but the nut and the piece in front of it keep turning like they are ratcheting over a bump with pressure. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. Sorry for the rush to questions but I was helping my uncle replace the drive belt when we noticed the driven clutch wiggling slightly. Now we can't figure out if there is something special to get it off.

Just wondering if you ever found a way to get the clutch off?, I replaced my belt and I was told you need to take the clutch off and clean it. I'm having the same problem getting it off.

the driven clutch in on a splined shaft, it just slides right off after removing the bolt. you need a special puller bolt to remove the drive clutch. you should just be able to blow the drive clutch out on the machine

My problem is getting the bolt off, the whole thing turns when attempting this.
I got the new belt on and works, but it seems to be stuck in high gear. Doesn't want to pull out and struggles climbing a hill. Once it gets going its good till you stop or go up a hill.
It's almost like the belt is too short, keeping the back pulley apart and not letting it close up.
I checked the part # and its supposedly the right belt, got it from the Polaris dealer.
Any suggestions?

sounds like one of the springs in one of the clutches is dead or maybe the weights are getting stuck. did you get a lot of debris out of the drive clutch when you had the cover off?

Yea, the old belt was in shreds. I took a blow gun and blew it out as best as I could.
