I have an 08 Phoenix 200 that my wife rides that has had the cylinder head cap blow out. It only has about maybe 30 hours on it. We havent been able to ride lately so I try to start it up about once a month. Last week I did this and started working on something else and just let it run idle for maybe 30 min. When I went to turn it off it was not running. Not sure how long it had actually run I started it back up and noticed it smoking really bad. Looking more to see why it was smoking I started to see oil leaking onto the exhaust pipe and immediatly turned it off. I looked for where the oil was coming from and found the cap on top of the cylinder head out. Anyone have any idea why this would have happened of if it may have messed up something else? I havent tried to start it back up yet.
