Fox Shock Problem

04 pred dale jr. edition with fox shock all the way around. My problem is on my rear shock I turned the red dial on the bottom of the shock counter-clockwise trying to loosen the shock but i think i went too far because it no longer clicks justs acts like its on a thread even when turned clockwise. Plus the shock doesnt feel like it has any pressure on it and it too soft now but cant get it harder. Anybody tell me whats going on here???

You might think about pulling it and checking the fluid. Mine stiffened up on me and adjusting it was also doing nothing so I pulled it and found it empty. Is there a squeak from the rear end when you set on the bike? Mine began squeeking bad and I assumed it was the shock bushings but it turned out it was that cylinder being dry.

yes it is squeking when it compresses now that I think of it, but I took the pressure of the spring to check the shock and there is abouslutly no pressure at all on the shock probly due to the fact I found a hole leaking oil in the hose going from the shock to the resivoir.
