Running ethinol in your predator

I was wondering if anyone has ran or know if you can run e85 in the predator.
If so did you have to re jet it or use a fuel additive?
Or can you mix it 50/50 with gasoline.
And if. used will it hurt you motor.

Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem. You would def need to rejet as e85 doesn't have the same amount of energy per unit as gasoline but the octane rating is higher. You could run more timing for sure.

This stuff is going to be death to small engines!! Unless you run it daily and run the fuel system dry every time, you WILL HAVE PROBLEMS!!

Just last night I ran across a Lucas Oil product specifically designed to combat the negative aspects of running 85% Alcohol (E85) fuel.
I strongly suggest ALL people running it begin using a good additive like this to combat the negative aspects of this fuel we will all soon be faced with using...

I don't know about the death of small engines, but an additive isn't a bad idea. It is a gummy fuel if left to sit, some teflon fuel lines will help but the carb will suffer if not looked after.
E85 is used extensively in Europe, especially in high hp turbo cars. The octane rating is somewhere around 110 which allows you to run a lot a boost(turbo pressure) and advanced timing, making moar hp! I used to be into Saab turbo cars and there are quite a few tuners that use E85 exclusively, 500 hp on pump gas is nothing to sneeze at. Unfortunately, there is only one station in MA that has E85 and it's at the airport, an hour away.
