Suspension Help

Alright so I took the Pred out to Durhamtown and realzied that my suspension (mainly the front) bottoms out way too easily. Even in the smallest of jumps and bumps I would hear metal hit metal. What part of the suspension setup do I need to adjust to keep this from happening?

That sounds expensive. Could I not just adjust the suspension? Is it something I could do at home? I'm pretty handy.

yes expensive. but it sounds like they may be faded? are they fox shocks? is it the front? change the rebound and preload a little and try that.

They're the stock Fox shocks that came with the ATV. They feel perfectly fine and don't sag when riding on flat land. It's only when I try and jump that they feel like they bottom out.

try adding more preload by turning the collar above the spring down to make the front end stiffer. i find it easiest to do this with the quad or at least the front of the quad off the ground. that takes the weight off the springs and lets your turn the collars with alot less tension

not to many companies making spring kits for us bigger riders. I think HPD makes a kit for up to a 250 rider but they arent cheap.

@ joshro8: are you speaking in terms of weight of the rider or the cc of the ATV?
