Trouble Running
i have a 2003 Predator 500 and it runs great but after awhile it dies when on the trail... you wait 3 to 5 mins and it will start back up, but any sooner it will not. i am new to this site, so the more help the better.... thank you

i would check tank vent first. next time it dies open the gas cap and see if it will start. welcome to the site.

thank you it is almost like there is an electrical heat up and it just shuts down until it cools down then starts again, what do u think about that?

ok the black bag at the back of the quad will do that if it gets wet or dirty it can corrode the connections and cause your issue.

it is located back by rear subframe area right close to where it bolts to the main frame. you cant miss it. it looks like a black plastic bag that is sealed on both ends. I have never had to do anything with mine but my buddy knew as soon as i asked him about your problem. he said its like a little circuit or something in that bag

After you check that vent, get yourself some SEA FOAM and use it!!

thank you i appreciate all the help i will surely come back to this site when ever i need help, ohh i have one more question, it is minor, but my neutral light doesn't always come on. it comes on sometimes, only when it is running and sometimes when it is not running, what can cause that?

loose connection or not getting a ground through the switch itself down on the motor.
